Title: Special Assistant

Reports to: President and CEO

Job Summary:  The Culture of Freedom Initiative seeks a Special Assistant to keep a small but growing team organized and appropriately engaged with a unique donor community. The Special Assistant serves as the primary administrative assistant for the President and provides support to the vice president of communications. In this capacity, this individual serves as the development manager for the Culture of Freedom Initiatives major gift prospects and donors.  He or she will work with the president to design and execute a moves management strategy and help execute a larger donor engagement and relationship development strategy for the organization’s top projects. He or she will also have a number of administrative responsibilities including serving as scheduler for the President’s day-to-day calendar and his travel to advance the mission of The Culture of Freedom Initiative with key constituents.  Work in this and other capacities includes drafting correspondence, record keeping on donor interactions, conducting research on donors, preparing reports, monitoring emails, and executing routine administrative support including but not limited to the handling of credit card statements, expense reimbursements. This is a fast-paced role that will offer excellent opportunities to build new skills in administration and fundraising while helping build a stronger society for everyone.
